More classic underground fiddlin. Tony Conrad with Faust "Outside the Dream Syndicate" is a great work of minimalist new music, Krautrock...whatever the fuck you want to call it. It's not just a record but an experience...gruelling and rewarding. I highly highly recommend it...particularly if you're in the mood for a trance or two! Conrad was a member of pre-VU band the Primitives and more importantly a member of the Theatre of Eternal Music with John Cale, La Monte Young, Angus MacLise, Marian Zazeela etc...the beginning of a beautiful thing we now call the Velvet Underground! Dig it!

Check out the new video blog...thing...over there to your right....yeah that. It's a video of a performance of my string quartet version of Cold Shoulders performed by me, Jonathan Ng, Eddie Whiting on ze viola and Danielle Bentley on cello. 'Twas a solo and chamber concert I put on at the ye Olde Museum here in bane of Bris. Hope you dig!
